This is apartment that is very good for family

staff was hard to get a hold of, not everything seemed clean

During the period where most accommodation in Venice were asking for sky-high rate, Ai Carmoni still offer a reasonable rate, though there was no service as this is an apartment and not a Hotel, the location is convenient to restaurants and supermarket and take-away.

The kitchen utensils, pots and pans were not thoroughly cleaned and was not able to find a kettle to boil water.

It was very near to bus station and a vaperotti station nearby ..also lots of good eating joints are also at walkable distance. A nice walk along the water and beautiful places to see around

There is no receptionist and hence you have to wait for owner to come back and help you in case of any query which can take 15 minutes to 4 hours..

Good apartment with a huge bedroom and another room with two single beds for kids. Nice kitchenette with all the crockery and cultery.Very peaceful location not far from the train station.

No hot water in the shower so had a bath with freezing water. Informed the lady at the reception the next day since reception closes at 2.00 pm everyday. Repaired or not, I would not know since we checked out.

The residence is close to transport, eating and shopping areas. Recomend for a 2-3 day visit to Venice.

Be aware there is no lift and you must lug your luggage up as many as 5 flight of stairs.

The location is very convenient, only a few minutes from the Grand Canal of Venice. The appartment was very clean.

The restrictive check-in times (to avoid financial penalties) are not the most convenient.

Though a little bit away from the main tourist areas in Venice, I found the quieter atmosphere to be a welcome change from the throngs at San Marco. Ai Carmini is just around the corner from Campo Santa Margherita, which had a vibrant scene in the evening with bars and restaurants. The apartment was clean. There is free WiFi, which was fast. Both bedrooms in the apartment we stayed in overlooked the Rio De Carmini canal. Two windows in each bedroom let in a lot of light. It was a beautiful locale with gondoliers passing in the canal below. The apartment is located a 10 minute walk from the train station and with the printed direction from the website we were able to walk to it without any problems.

Floors and apartment in general are cold. WIFI system is poor.

We loved staying here. The apartment was spacious and in a great location-not too far a walk from where we parked out car in the parking building (less than 2km). We arrived a bit later than anticipated (about 2h later) which wasn't received too well by the receptionist but she recovered and was pleasant for the rest of our stay. Would rdefinetely recommend for families.
